- There may be 3 parts to every assignment: Book, construction, and proofs. Be sure you include all 3 parts. Proofs: For each group listed, do the fill-in-the-blank proofs, and then pick one other from each section.
- Check your own answers against the answers on the disk. Do this BEFORE you come to class, MARK the problems that gave you trouble, correct them (get help if you don’t understand why the correct answer isn’t your answer), and score your work (see next). We will take some class time to discuss a few problems.
- Lessons are worth 10 points, with corrections finished, with one point off for late work after Tuesdays. Constructions and proofs are worth 5 points each, with one point off for late work after Tuesdays.
- Homework is 1/3rd of your grade. Tests are 2/3rds of your grade. One retake is allowed for a test score under 80%, and ONLY if taken on time in the first place.
- An Open House project is REQUIRED, and is worth one test score. Discuss possible projects with your instructor.
